BBQ Moved to Jun 4th
I hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend. I was hoping it was not going to rain but hey what could I expect, after all it is " Rose Festival Weekend". We are moving our cookout to next weekend due to lack of RSVP for today so if you want to come out and break bread with us please drop us a line by next Thursday. Our first meat share pickup is on June 11th so we want to make sure we can get people out here before then. If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to call or write us. Please come out next weekend we can hang together and eat! Saturday 2pm to 430pm
Some of you brave souls can help feed the pigs!

Put a goat on it...
So spring is really finally upon us and we have many new additions to our family here on the farm.
About a month after our lamb "1201" arrived we met a host of kids: Clarence, Daisy, Molly, Rollo, Rainbow, and Francesca. This is great news and they bring pure joy to the farm. On a sad note, Bilbi, the sire to most of the kids lost his life to a coyote attack and he will be greatly missed.
Fortunately Bilbi's spirit lives on in his kids and today we found them inventing a new game, king of the llama mountain:
This is twins Rainbow and Rollo walking/climbing on Shiloh as Sonya looks on...
Now Daisy takes a turn on top...
Now the game is over...
And nothing from the peanut gallery...
Now you have seen a lot of our new goats, we'd like to introduce a few other characters....
Here is Stalin out for a nice jaunt around the pasture.
He is flanked by a couple ganders and chickens.
That Daisy is back on the llama again... Shiloh is such a patient goat-sitter....
And some more hogs, getting in some exercise as the other llamas look on from the far pasture.
Can you spot the hams in this picture?
Now a less active member right now is our goose who is diligently sitting on her eggs in self-imposed seclusion
Thought of the day: Everyone has their place in this world, find yours.
